ABOUT US
Epicerie Valmarie has been run by Astrid and Eric Stam since the year 2000. You can find us on the main road at the beginning of the picturesque village Racou, (south off Argeles sur mer)
In our small supermarket you can find a wide range of the first necessities of life.
We have our own baking ovens. Every morning we provide a wide range of croissants, pain au chocolats, chausson aux pommes, pain au raisins etc. We bake baguettes (french sticks) all day long, non stop.
Furthermore, you will find everything you need in the area of beach and swimming pool equipment.
For our English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish guests we have a wide range of English products, ranging from English sausages, English smoked bacon, Heinz baked beanz, Brandston pickles and more!
Try our famous spit-roast chicken or our delicious paninis with home made sauce.
Also for the rental of stand-up padle, bicycles, BBQ’s and fans you have come to the right place. During the winter period when the shop is closed, our English customer’s who live in the south off France can use our webshop. We deliver once a week at your doorstep.
Epicerie Valmarie is open from april till october.

Breadservice
Freshly baked bread from our own ovens every day. A wide range of different bread products from baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolats etc. You have also come to the right place for Dutch rolls, hot crossed buns and apple turnovers.

What do we offer ?
From April till October we grill our famous chickens on site every afternoon and evening.
We use our own home made spice mixture that gives our chickens that special taste.
Please drop by for a reservation.
Everyday from April till October we provide you with a large range off freshly baked products, like baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolait, pain aux raisins etc.
We have our own baking ovens and are baking non stop from 07.00 till 19.00.
Also for fresh sandwiches and paninis you have come to the right address. Try our famous chicken/cheese panini. Made off our own roasted chicken, soft melted cheddar cheese and our home made panini saus!
All the wine you’ll find in our shop is coming from the local area. Of course we have tasted all the wines and we only sell wine we like ourselves.
During the season we organize a wine tasting every week on site.
